UCL Australia Graduates 21 Students

UCL Australia proudly graduated 21 of its own on Friday at the UCL Australia Graduation Ceremony 2015.

Mr Brett Woods VP of Santos Eastern Region welcomed the graduands wishing them well on behalf of Santos and departing CEO and Managing Director David Knox, who was instrumental in establishing UCL in South Australia.

UCL Australia Head of Department, Professor Magnus Nyden, then presented the graduands and prize winners to Vice-Dean of Engineering Professor Jeremy Watson CBE. In his speech, Professor Watson spoke about his enthusiasm for the partnership between UCL and the University of South Australia.

The Chairman of UCL Australia’s Advisory Board, The Honourable Martin Ferguson AM, gave the closing remarks on a particularly strong cohort whom he believes, with their UCL education, will play key roles in the future of the Energy and Resources industry.
