Professor Brian Collins, Professor of Engineering policy at UCL Engineering, will be giving this years’ IET Mountbatten Memorial Lecture. Established in 1978 by the National Engineering Council, this lecture has been previously delivered by many luminaries including, from UCL, Professor Sir Eric Ash and Professor Sir Michael Pepper.
About the lecture:
The national systems that provide us with vital services – water, energy, transport, waste management and information services – are in need of urgent modernisation if the UK is to make best use of the latest technological innovations and remain economically competitive and a desirable place to live and work.
