Engineering Cookery Competition
Cake Geoengineering – a volcano cake ‘erupting’ foam lava through the use of solid carbon dioxide.
Staff and students from any department in the Faculty of Engineering (list here if you’re not sure!) are invited to create something culinary and bring it along for tasting. Discover your fellow engineers’ hidden skills, share some food together, and you might even win a prize!
Prizes in three categories:
- Best Sweet
- Best Savoury
- Best Engineering-related Edible

Location: North Cloisters, UCL ( find route )
Anything is acceptable – cakes, quiches, biscuits, jellies, pizza, salad, chocolates – and science/engineering/geek-related themes are encouraged. Check out Geek Sugar’s Edible Geek, Cooking for Engineers or Modernist Cuisine (although there are many others) for inspiration.
