Welcome to the Department of Management Science & Innovation
Management Science & Innovation focuses on theoretical and empirical analyses of managerial, organisational, and operational dynamics in innovation-intensive organisations.
Our research projects include topics such as technology management and commercialisation, innovation, creation and growth of technology-intensive organisations, and entrepreneurship. We apply theories and methods from, among others, organisational behaviour, strategic management, operations research and managerial economics. Our research is interdisciplinary in nature, and we collaborate intensely with other UCL departments, including life and biomedical sciences, biochemical engineering, psychology, statistics and economics. We are also heavily engaged with the end users of our research, in industry, consulting and finance.
We offer BSc and MSc degrees in management, technology entrepreneurship, and information management for business, as well as executive education courses in project management, and a PhD programme in Management Science and Innovation.
